eu(fucking)phoria

I know I should post something about how thrilled I am about the election results. I am happy, I guess. And I laughed so hard I cried when I watched the Indecision 2008 Stewart/Colbert show (“you brought a spoon to a spork fight!”). But any euphoric impulses are quickly tempered when I think about the issues that President-elect Obama is going to be facing.

Oh, and that’s President-fucking-elect Barack Hussein Obama to you, asshole.

On second thought, being able to say that does make me feel pretty euphoric.

In other f-word–worthy news, I’ve been working all morning on my notes for class tomorrow (teaching argumentation), and while I know this comes easily to most people, I can’t parse the difference between inductive and deductive reasoning. It’s all clear for a brilliant few minutes before it disappears into the mush of my brain. How am I supposed to teach something I don’t fucking understand? Not to put too fine a point on it, but, well, fuck.
